A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate with four to seven years of experience in digital asset regulatory and/or transactional matters to join their team in New York, NY or Washington, DC. The candidate should have a background in digital asset-related transactions, stablecoin/token issuances, product counseling, and state and federal regulatory issues, with a focus on Commodity Futures Trading Commission or Securities and Exchange Commission matters.

Duties

• Advise on digital asset-related transactions and regulatory compliance.
• Provide counsel on stablecoin and token issuances.
• Navigate state and federal regulatory issues.
• Focus on matters involving the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission.

Requirements

• Four to seven years of relevant experience.
• Experience at a peer firm or in-house preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in New York or Washington, DC.

Skills

• Strong understanding of digital asset regulations.
