A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Parker, CO. This role primarily focuses on litigation with additional responsibilities in transactional law and general counsel services. The successful candidate will handle cases in construction, real estate, and business law, providing clients with exceptional legal counsel and strategic representation.

Duties

• Provide expert legal advice and representation in construction law, real estate law, and business law
• Draft and review a range of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Manage a varied caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring high standards of client service
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and create tailored legal strategies
• Participate in negotiations and mediations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Conduct depositions, participate in trials, and handle appeals as necessary
• Offer general counsel services to business clients as needed
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas
• Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance to support staff on legal matters and case management

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in civil litigation, with a preference for experience in construction, real estate, and business law
• Licensure: Active license to practice law in Colorado
• Skills: Proficiency in legal drafting with attention to detail, strong communication skills, and effective problem-solving abilities

Education

• Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Bar Admission: Active Colorado bar license required
