A law firm seeks an experienced Associate to join its Tax practice in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in transactional tax matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and capital markets. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining office and remote work.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate tax provisions in transactional documents.
• Advise clients on tax transactions involving diverse asset classes.
• Counsel clients on investment strategies.
• Manage client relationships and oversee deal processes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the practicing jurisdiction or eligibility to become admitted.
• 3-5 years of transactional tax experience, preferably in a major law firm or national accounting firm.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction.
