Location:

• San Antonio, TX

Duties:

• Manage and litigate personal injury defense cases involving commercial vehicles and ride-share drivers

• Conduct discovery and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda

• Attend and represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Engage in motion practice and settlement negotiations

• Defend clients against first- and third-party claims

• Apply knowledge of FMCSA regulations and commercial liability policies

• Collaborate with partners and utilize paralegal and administrative support

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or related field preferred)

• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and personal injury defense

• Familiarity with commercial vehicle regulations and defense strategies

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good-standing membership in the Texas State Bar

Skills:

• Legal research and drafting

• Deposition and courtroom representation

• Knowledge of FMCSA and commercial vehicle regulations
