Immigration Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney who specializes in corporate immigration matters. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in advising corporate clients and handling various immigration petitions and compliance issues.

Duties

• Provide strategic counsel to corporate clients on diverse business immigration issues.
• Represent clients before government agencies such as USCIS, DOL, and DOS, managing petitions and applications.
• Litigate appeals and oversee compliance matters for corporate clients.
• Demonstrate expertise in handling a variety of immigration categories, including H-1B, L-1, O-1A, E1/E2, NIW, EB-1A, and EB-5.
• Maintain and grow a portable book of business, engaging with corporate entities, startups, universities, hospitals, and other organizations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a highly regarded law school.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate immigration law at an AmLaw 100 firm.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited institution with a strong academic background.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and policies.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
