Duties

• Assist with company formations and financings, including convertible notes and SAFEs.
• Manage venture capital and private equity transactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal securities and state blue sky laws.
• Facilitate joint ventures, spin-offs, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Advise on employment, consulting, and equity compensation matters.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with venture-backed growth companies preferred.
• Background in a venture capital fund, technology startup, or reputable law firm desired.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.

Skills
