Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience with secured and unsecured credit facilities, with a preference for those familiar with construction and real estate secured loans.

Duties

• Document, negotiate, and close various credit facilities and loan transactions.
• Conduct due diligence for secured and unsecured loans.
• Manage large commercial and corporate lending transactions from inception to post-closing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of sophisticated finance experience.
• Experience with LIHTC or other tax-credit projects is desirable.
• Familiarity with title, survey, and real estate development is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to exceptional client service.
• Preference for candidates in Colorado or Arizona.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
