Duties:

• Handle first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation cases.

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.

• Take and defend depositions, prepare for court appearances, and manage trial preparation.

• Represent clients in both state and federal courts.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.

• Provide legal counsel and strategy for insurance-related matters.

• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• Bar admission in Florida.

• Proven experience in first-party property and insurance coverage litigation.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Hands-on case management experience in both state and federal courts.

• Experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Trial experience is preferred.

• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar membership in good standing (required).

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
