Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Saratoga Springs, NY office. The attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation matters, requiring strong communication, legal advocacy, and writing skills. Federal Court experience is preferred, and candidates must possess excellent analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills. A New York Bar license is required.

Duties:

• Handle various litigation matters under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist with case strategy and management
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior attorneys

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar
• 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience
• Strong communication, legal advocacy, and writing skills
• Federal Court experience preferred
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
