Job Overview:
A national law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate with significant experience in legal writing, particularly in the context of Daubert and Rule 702 motions. This role will focus on complex litigation involving pharmaceutical and medical device matters. The ideal candidate will be a proactive legal strategist with exceptional communication skills and a strong litigation background.
Location:
Duties:
Review and draft legal documents including discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
Communicate with clients on case matters and strategy
Supervise junior attorneys and coordinate team assignments
Collaborate with expert witnesses
Assist in deposition preparation and fact development
Contribute to overall litigation strategy development
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of product liability experience, ideally at an AmLaw 100 firm
Proven experience drafting Daubert and Rule 702 motions
Prior involvement in pharmaceutical and/or medical device litigation
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Admission to the New York Bar is encouraged
