A law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate with 2-3 years of experience for its New York, NY office. The successful candidate will represent various financial institutions in the financing of commercial properties.

Duties

• Represent commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, and other lenders.
• Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial property diligence.
• Work on the origination of loans secured by commercial properties.
• Assist with mezzanine loans and commercial mortgage loan securitization and syndication.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in real estate finance.
• Experience with commercial property diligence and loan origination.
• Exposure to mezzanine loans and securitization is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills
