The candidate should have 2-6 years of experience; experience in a sophisticated law firm environment managing complex energy and natural resources transactional work (M&A, project development, and commercial agreements); experience with renewable energy transactional work (M&A, joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, commercial agreements such as PPAs, O&M, and Shared Facilities Agreements); experience with conventional energy and natural resources transactional work, including oil and gas and mining experience, is advantageous but not a requirement; experience with financing transactions in the energy and natural resources sector is advantageous but not a requirement; managing complex transactions on tight time frames, including interacting with subject matter experts in other disciplines and local counsel, and supervising junior lawyers and legal support staff; Other requirements include excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
