Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney licensed in Kentucky for a high-volume consumer collection practice. This fully remote position allows candidates to work from anywhere in Kentucky, with no billable hour requirement. The firm values attorneys admitted in multiple jurisdictions and covers bar dues, CLE, and costs for additional state admissions.

Duties

• Manage a large, active docket from filing through resolution.
• Review and approve pleadings and motions.
• Coordinate with support staff and other attorneys.
• Ensure compliance with applicable law and firm standards.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• One to three years of litigation experience, preferably in consumer or commercial collections.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
• Working knowledge of consumer protection statutes, including the FDCPA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
