Civil Law Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Civil Law Associate Attorney to join their team in Folsom, CA. The Civil Law Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal support in civil litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on civil law matters and prepare legal memoranda.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for civil litigation cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Assist in case preparation, including discovery and deposition preparation.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings as required.
• Provide support to senior attorneys in trial preparation and strategy.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California Bar.
