Litigation Legal Assistant
The candidate will support multiple attorneys, assisting in the preparation and filing of legal documents and correspondence, calendaring, timekeeping, and professional interface with clients, counsel, and courts. Must have 5-10 years of litigation defense experience, with all or some of the experience in medical malpractice. Experience should include the ability to handle cases from pre-suit through trial, as well as experience with court procedures and e-filing in multiple counties. Should be organized, proficient in MS Office products, and possess excellent grammar and communications skills. Other skills include being a self-starter and independent worker, and the ability to maneuver the ins and out of the court administrative agencies and opposing counsel. Medical-malpractice defense experience is preferred.
