A law firm seeks a highly qualified Technical Specialist or Patent Agent to join their team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in high-tech patent prosecution, with proficiency in patent searching and drafting patentability, freedom-to-operate, and other IP-related opinions.

Duties

• Conduct patent searches and draft patentability opinions.
• Prepare freedom-to-operate and other IP-related opinions.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on complex patent prosecution matters.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in high-tech patent prosecution.
• Proficiency in patent searching and drafting IP-related opinions.
• Self-motivated and collaborative with intellectual curiosity.

Education

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.

Certifications

• Prior experience as a patent agent or in a law firm or industry setting is strongly preferred.
