Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled PIP Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury law, exceptional research and writing skills, and the ability to handle complex litigation matters effectively.

Duties

  • Manage a significant caseload from inception through post-trial.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare written reports.
  • Provide timely updates to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and engagement.
  • Travel to courthouses and other locations as necessary for case management and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases is required.
  • Must be a Good Standing Member of the Florida Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Proven ability to evaluate files for litigation and manage a high volume of cases.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel, and Westlaw.
  • Ability to work independently and produce accurate, high-quality work products.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, resolve conflicts, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Professional demeanor in written, verbal, and in-person communications.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida and good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills

  • Strong writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and Westlaw.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team player.
