• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and other stakeholders.
• Represent clients at hearings before administrative agencies or courts.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas when cases intersect.
• Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with procedural deadlines.
• Stay informed of developments in workers' compensation law and related fields.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in South Carolina.
• Prior experience in workers' compensation law is preferred; recent graduates with strong research and writing skills will be considered.
• Proven ability to draft comprehensive legal documents with clarity and precision.
• Experience in negotiation tactics and settlement procedures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures enhances effectiveness in this role.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
