A reputable law firm based in Florida is seeking a full-time Corporate Transactions Attorney with at least 5 years of experience. This position supports a senior shareholder with over three decades of corporate and business law expertise. The ideal candidate will handle a broad range of corporate matters including contract drafting, entity formation, and mergers and acquisitions. The role offers a supportive, balanced work environment, without the requirement for an existing book of business.

Location

• Daytona Beach, Florida

Duties

• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of business contracts and agreements

• Provide legal guidance on corporate governance and compliance matters

• Structure and form various business entities

• Advise clients on general business and transactional issues

• Support senior attorneys on complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions

• Communicate legal concepts clearly to business clients

• Maintain and manage assigned client matters independently

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate and business law

• Ability to handle matters independently, including contracts, entity structuring, and M&A

• Strong organizational and client service orientation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work on-site at the Daytona Beach office

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida (or eligibility to become licensed)
