Duties

• Draft U.S. and international patent applications for diverse chemical fields.
• Prepare and file responses with the USPTO and coordinate with foreign associations.
• Analyze invention disclosures and confer with inventors on patentability.
• Conduct prior art searches and patentability assessments.
• Identify arguments for office action responses based on examiner's rejections.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and anticipate needs.
• Three years of full-time experience as a Patent Agent.

Education

• Master's or PhD in chemistry or related field.

Certifications

• Registered before the USPTO in good standing.
