Location:

• North Newton, Kansas

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on case law, statutes, and regulations

• Draft legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings

• Advise clients on legal matters and maintain ongoing communication regarding case status

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management

• Prepare for and assist in settlement negotiations

• Ensure compliance with ethical and professional responsibility standards set by the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct

• Fulfill all Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements as mandated by the Kansas Bar

• Contribute to firm-wide success through effective teamwork and client service

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas

• Demonstrated understanding of legal principles and litigation procedures

• Experience or interest in client advisory, research, and trial preparation

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Kansas State Bar

• Completion of required CLE credits on an annual basis

Skills:
