Duties

• Manage a high volume of estate planning and administration matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Provide expert counsel on a variety of trust and estate issues, including tax planning, probate, and multi-generational wealth transfer
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and concerns while offering sound legal advice
• Oversee the probate process, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to enhance client service
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive continued growth of the practice
• Stay up-to-date on changes in estate law and relevant legal precedents

Requirements

• Experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate law
• Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of clients
• Strong understanding of estate, gift, and income tax laws
• Ability to handle complex legal matters with efficiency and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota
• LLM in Taxation (preferred)
