A law firm seeks a seasoned, results-driven Attorney to join its personal injury practice in Fairlawn, OH. The candidate should be focused and capable of managing a large docket of personal injury cases throughout Ohio in a fast-paced, professional environment. The primary office location is in Akron.

Duties

• Investigate case facts and develop damages evidence.
• Negotiate all aspects of case settlements, including lien resolution.
• Maintain communication and positive relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and insurance representatives.
• Work with teams to accomplish law firm goals.
• Supervise support staff.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• Minimum 2-5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice.
• Insurance defense and/or prior claims handling experience is a major advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office required.
• Knowledge of Needles case management software preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and overall superior communication and presentation skills.
• Superior negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
