Candidate must have: JD Degree from an ABA-accredited law school, awarded no later than December 31, 2019. Desired: Member of the North Carolina State Bar, or must sit no later than the July 2020 North Carolina bar examination. Excellent research and writing skills. Demonstrated interest in the practice of higher education law. Ability to professionally interact with University administration, faculty, staff, students, and the public. Strong interpersonal skills that reflect courtesy, diplomacy, and a collaborative approach to developing and maintaining effective working relationships. Preferences: 2018 or 2019 graduate of a North Carolina school of law.
Duration: 1.5 year appointment: January 1, 2020 to July 31, 2021
