Duties

• Assist senior attorneys with active family law cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
• Communicate with clients and guide them through the legal process
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings with increasing responsibility
• Support case preparation and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
• Strong writing and research skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and be coached
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients compassionately
• Interest in family law (experience not required)

Education

• Juris Doctor degree

• Licensed to practice law in Louisiana
