Duties

• Build case defenses and trial themes independently.
• Analyze state and federal case law for pre-trial motions.
• Draft original motions and litigation documents.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses.
• Interview and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions and participate in mediations.
• Develop client relationships through communication.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties.
• Participate in networking and community leadership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admittance to at least one state bar, preferably MA, CT, or RI.
• Experience in a billable work environment.
• Experience in mass-torts, class actions, or complex litigation.
• Client service orientation and experience required.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admittance to at least one state bar.
