A law firm in Yorklyn, PA, is seeking a Trusts and Estates Attorney with 3-8 years of experience in estate and tax planning. The ideal candidate will also possess skills in elder law and probate.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on estate planning, including wills, trusts, and estate administration.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize estate and gift taxes.
• Draft and review estate planning documents such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings.
• Assist clients with elder law issues, including Medicaid planning and guardianship matters.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in estate, tax, and elder law.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized estate plans.
• Guide the administration of estates and trusts, including the preparation of fiduciary accountings and tax returns.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.
• 3-8 years of experience in estate and tax planning.
• Proficiency in elder law and probate.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client matters and meet deadlines.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• LL.M. in Taxation or a related field.
• Certification as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA).
• Experience with complex estate and tax planning strategies.
