Duties

• Prosecute and defend cases involving voting rights, redistricting, and the First Amendment.
• Handle cases in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
• Take significant responsibility for cases and move them forward skillfully.
• Supervise and direct junior attorneys and staff.
• Execute major filings from beginning to end.

Requirements

• Excellent legal writing and editing skills.
• Strong oral presentation and client-facing skills.
• Meaningful experience in state or federal court litigation.
• Understanding of the lifecycle of a civil case and rules of procedure and evidence.
• Commitment to a team mentality and the firm's mission.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
