A Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a highly capable and litigation-ready Senior Attorney to join its expanding personal injury practice. Duties:

• Oversee a varied caseload involving personal injury litigation matters

• Draft and file complaints, motions, and legal correspondence

• Conduct and defend depositions, preparing clients beforehand

• Draft and respond to discovery, including meet and confer letters

• Represent clients during court appearances and mediations

• Guide investigative efforts related to litigation matters

• Negotiate settlements in personal injury claims

• Participate in trial preparation, legal workshops, and internal training initiatives

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of hands-on experience in personal injury litigation

• Demonstrated expertise in managing pre-litigation and discovery phases

• Familiarity with courtroom processes, depositions, and settlement negotiations

• Proficiency in written discovery and motion practice

• Availability to gradually assume trial responsibilities

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous

• Prior experience in workers’ compensation law is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:
