The Fulfillment Sr. Analyst supports the Fulfillment leadership team providing insights, analysis and business recommendations to improve fulfillment speed, reduce fulfillment cost and improve the customer experience. This individual works cross functionally across the enterprise (Supply Chain, Services, Retail) leveraging data sets from multiple areas to make process recommendations. The role is focused on leveraging and developing reporting that is actionable and enables reporting audiences to focus on key measures so they can change or modify operations that improve fulfillment. This role is highly collaborative (both peers and management) and responsible to communicate insights and recommendations from business data to drive positive results.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Business Capability Development: Fulfillment Reporting, Forecasting, Analysis, and Decision Support
Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide Fulfillment decisions
Monitor and forecast fulfillment trends
Review SKU and territory level analysis and make business recommendations to the leaders
Represent Fulfillment in cross functional discussions around product fulfillment (small and large)
Support improvements across all channels (e.g. SDF), as well as launching of new channel capabilities (e.g. google express).
Process and Business Rhythm Execution
Work with Finance and management to signal business risk or opportunities identified in performance results that drive overall fulfillment
Gain team alignment with cross functional partners to drive business plans
Perform all required tasks and processes in support of business rhythms
Support and lead all deliverables and ensure timelines are agreed upon and met
Partner with SC to drive improvements in processes, execution, and communication with cross functional partners including inbound planning, scheduling processes, inbound transportation, greater SC network impacts, etc.
Market Support:
Address unique market level trends, customer demands, drive times, competitive threats, and operational opportunities
Design and Develop support models for key market opportunities and initiatives
Inventory Productivity:
Provide recommendations as well as develop and train improved tools and processes around product availability and optimal product placement to maximize fulfillment capabilities
Partner with business teams to drive improved 4 wall productivity (B&M and online) and fulfillment strategies, through category and SKU level productivity analysis and execution
2) Business Analysis: Understand end-to-end processes and connect insights/KPIs to guide conversations with cross-functional teams leading to positive outcomes
Apply critical thinking skills and business/system knowledge to improve current performance and identify opportunities for changes which support business strategy, efficiency and sustainability
3) Cross-functional Partnership and Communication: Document Fulfillment best practices
Provide updates/visibility to cross-functional teams regarding system performance, relative metrics and process/system changes that will shape future roadmaps.
Minimum Requirements:
3 or more years of Inventory management, Supply Chain, Distribution/Transportation, Business management, Vendor management, Project management, Retail, or Technical Expertise, while demonstrating:
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
Understanding of business and financial concepts
The ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced, evolving team environment and across functional groups
Preferred:
Experience in a large global consumer-oriented business in the retail industry and/or a multi-channel/multi-brand business
Advanced problem solving skills and analytical abilities with competency translating complex problems into solutions to be implemented
