A leading national law firm is currently seeking a California-barred attorney to join its Healthcare Practice Group, a specialized subgroup within its Consumer Financial Services division. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated healthcare litigation matters, including ERISA benefits disputes, payor-provider contract issues, reimbursement claims, and consumer healthcare coverage litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong courtroom, research, and writing experience, along with a solid understanding of the healthcare regulatory landscape.

Represent clients in complex healthcare litigation in both state and federal courts
Handle ERISA benefit claims, regulatory disputes, and out-of-network reimbursement cases
Advise healthcare clients on compliance with applicable federal and state regulations
Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and discovery requests/responses
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
Participate in hearings, mediations, and depositions
Maintain direct client interaction throughout the litigation process
Admission to the California State Bar
Demonstrated experience in healthcare litigation or related complex commercial litigation
Familiarity with ERISA, reimbursement litigation, and healthcare compliance laws
Prior clerkship experience is strongly preferred
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Strong academic record required
Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
Strong oral advocacy and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously
Detail-oriented with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficient in litigation tools and technology
