This position involves representing clients in various bankruptcy cases, handling legal documentation, and offering expert advice on bankruptcy law. The firm is committed to providing quality legal services, and the ideal candidate will have experience in consumer bankruptcy law and be admitted to both New York State and Federal Courts.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court for bankruptcy cases
• Draft and prepare legal documents related to bankruptcy
• Conduct client meetings and consultations
• Negotiate settlements in legal disputes
• Handle various aspects of consumer bankruptcy law, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases
• Appear at settlement conferences and hearings
• Provide expert legal counsel to clients regarding their bankruptcy options

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice law in New York State and Federal Courts
• 3 years of experience in consumer bankruptcy law
• Familiarity with bankruptcy procedures, documents, and relevant laws
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
• Prior experience in settlement conferences is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to New York State Bar and Federal Courts
