Job Overview: A law firm in East Palo Alto, CA, seeks a motivated Junior International Tax Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the firm's international tax practice, handling various responsibilities related to client communication, legal research, and deliverable production.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product in international tax law.
• Successfully meet deadlines, and expectations, and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in international tax law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle various aspects of international tax matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Any relevant certifications in international tax law would be a plus.

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
