The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience. Experience defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and their state law equivalents. Experience in counseling employers on various employment-related issues, including leave entitlement, wage and hour issues, hiring, terminations, discipline, handbook policies and procedures, employment agreements, and other matters affecting the employment relationship. Experience handling multiple facets of litigation, including responding to complaints, drafting and responding to discovery, e-discovery and the production of documents, preparing dispositive and other motions, and drafting position statements. Experience with wage and hour collective actions and class action litigation. Experience in taking and defending depositions. Superior attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional research and analytical skills, as well as a high level of academic achievement. Admitted to practice law in Florida. AmLaw 100 law firm experience and ability to generate clients are pluses.
