A law firm seeks a motivated, entry-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its San Diego, CA office full-time. The successful candidate will work alongside lead trial attorneys on serious personal injury cases, gaining valuable experience in a supportive, trial-focused environment.

Duties

• Assist lead trial attorneys with personal injury cases, including auto, premises, dog bite, and wrongful death.
• Conduct depositions and prepare and argue motions.
• Interact with clients and participate in mediations.
• Appear in court, including at trial.
• Develop skills to transition into a trial attorney role within one to two years.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Solid work ethic and commitment to building a career as a trial attorney.
• Litigation-oriented internships, clinical programs, clerkships, mock trial, or trial advocacy experience preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
