Shift Supervisor

Profile

Lakeland Tool and Engineering is looking for an experienced Shift Manager - 3rd shift - to join our team in Anoka, MN.

Essential Functions:

Manage shift production activities to ensure that production schedules are met, quality parts are being produced, and target overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is met or exceeded daily.

Work closely with the quality control personnel, press operator lead operators and other shift personnel to improve product flow, quality,and maintain systems to reduce scrap and waste.

Communicates with preceding and oncoming shifts to designate work assignments and expectations to achieve scrap and efficiency goals.

Train, develop, mentor, direct and discipline staff to ensure a productive, efficient and competent workforce is in place to meet scheduled requirements in a safe environment.

Recommends, initiates, or facilitates measures from technical staff to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, changes in working condition and use of equipment so as to increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce waste

Review and assess employee performance utilizing the performance management system to develop a competent work force.

Review shift labor hour Maintains safe working environment including completion of accident investigation reports,

Completing Safety Audits, workplace Organization Audits, Assures proper utilization of personal protective equipment, and compliance with company safety rules and procedures to maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Knowledge and Experience:

Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three to five years related injection molding experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of Supervisory Experience preferred.

Demonstrated high proficiency with all programs in Microsoft Office Suite.

On-the-job training may be required.
