Duties

• Advise clients on employment law issues, including paid sick leave, discrimination, and wage compliance.
• Represent employers in courts, arbitrations, and mediations for employment-related disputes.
• Draft and argue motions in federal and state courts.
• Prepare and respond to pleadings and discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions and witness interviews.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 7-12 years of relevant employment law experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Active member in good standing with the New York Bar Association.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
