Duties

• Handle litigation matters involving insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes

• Provide legal counsel related to:

  • Professional liability

  • General liability

  • Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance policies

• Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and write high-level legal memoranda

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategy

• Participate in discovery, mediation, and settlement discussions

• Maintain compliance with deadlines and court requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation

• Ability to manage litigation independently while working effectively in a team setting

• Demonstrated success in case strategy and execution

• Must be detail-oriented and responsive in a fast-paced practice

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills

• Deep understanding of insurance law and litigation procedure

• Excellent legal research and writing skills

• Effective oral advocacy and negotiation abilities
