Duties

• Draft pleadings, discovery demands, responses, and motions.
• Appear in court to represent clients regarding claims.
• Defend or take depositions.
• Confer with experts and prepare for trial.
• Negotiate and settle claims or actions.

Requirements

• License to practice law in New York.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Adobe, Outlook, and remote working tools.
• Ability to manage cases from inception to trial readiness.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation as an attorney.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
