Job Overview: A dynamic litigation law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Attorney with trial experience, preferably in jury trials. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to manage a fast-paced caseload, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Location: Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Review and analyze case files and legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and depositions.
• Communicate with clients to prepare them for legal proceedings.
• Establish and maintain dialogue with opposing counsel regarding settlements and trial preparation.
• Analyze and respond to pleadings filed by opposing parties.
• Draft legal letters, notices, and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare relevant documents.
• Negotiate and prepare settlements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California State Bar License (Required)

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficiency in navigating technology.
• Willingness to be coached and develop professionally.
