Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Trademark Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark law and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Duties
- Conduct trademark searches and review search results.
- Develop global trademark strategies.
- Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution.
- Handle trademark enforcement, including online enforcement and TTAB proceedings.
- Draft and respond to demand letters and manage UDRP proceedings.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of trademark experience.
- Experience in copyright prosecution and enforcement is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI developments in intellectual property is advantageous.
- Superior writing and communication skills.
- Foreign language skills are valued but not required.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
