Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Corporate Public Companies group in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with IPOs and capital market transactions, including advising pre-IPO and public companies on disclosure, corporate governance, and compliance matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on SEC and stock exchange reporting and compliance.
• Assist in capital markets transactions for issuers and underwriters.
• Manage client relationships and handle day-to-day client needs.
• Collaborate with team members on various corporate matters.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience with IPOs and capital market transactions.
• Experience with start-ups, venture capital financings, and mergers & acquisitions is a plus.
• Preference for candidates admitted to practice in California.
• Previous large law firm experience required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in California preferred.

Skills

• Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance.
