A law firm seeks a transactional attorney with expertise in U.S. federal income tax law to join its national practice. This position is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various practice groups.

Duties

• Advise clients on corporate matters and taxation issues related to cross-border and domestic M&A, equity capital markets, and more.
• Draft partnership agreements and LLC operating agreements.
• Provide tax support to litigation teams and assist with structuring settlements.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of experience at an Am Law 100 firm or reputable company.
• Graduated from a top-tier law school or demonstrate an excellent industry reputation.
• Interest in autonomy over practice while collaborating with top attorneys.
• Ability to identify at least one anchor client and articulate a business development plan.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a recognized law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the United States.

Skills

• Strong expertise in U.S. federal income tax law.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
