A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation group in San Juan, PR. The successful candidate will engage in meaningful legal work, contributing to a variety of cases and collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.

Duties

• Assist in managing cases from inception to resolution, including legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs and motions.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Engage in pro bono work to support underserved communities.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Puerto Rico.
• JD years 2020 to 2024 with strong litigation experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Produce timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Bar Admission in Puerto Rico
