Job Overview:
A remote position for an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney specializing in defending workers' compensation claims. This role involves managing a comprehensive caseload, providing legal counsel, and handling all aspects of workers' compensation defense cases from start to trial, if necessary.

Location:

• Anaheim, California

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation cases, ranging from simple to complex
• Develop and implement litigation strategies
• Create budget plans when needed
• Conduct legal discovery, including depositions and interrogatories
• Attend court appearances and other legal proceedings
• Litigate cases while maintaining exceptional client relationships
• Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and correspondence
• Prepare cases for trial
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other related parties
• Negotiate settlements in the best interest of the client

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in defending workers' compensation cases
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills
• Proven ability to manage a large caseload independently
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Litigation and trial experience

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
