Core Responsibilities
Code -Write efficient SQL or Pythion code against very large datasets
Document - Write clear Wiki pages and related documentation
Guide - Partner with employees to make sure they understand our data sufficiently to accomplish their goals
Profile Data - Profile our customer and prospect data
Data Quality - Deduplicate customer data and refine process to keep our data clean
Best Practices - Help define and implement data quality and governance best practices
Data Engineering - Build data pipelines that enrich and aggerate data to be used by partners
Leverage Tools - Use tools like Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, AWS Athena/Glue/Lambda
Visualize - Use visualization tools like Looker and Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn) to show data in context
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

What We Need
Knowledge and Experience
Customer data - Worked with large customer data sets, ideally business to business, but direct to consumer is also sufficient
Advertising or media entertainment industry experience - familiar with how advertisers leverage media to reach their customers
Data modeling - Ability to understand and contribute to a data model design with entity relationship diagrams
Data Governance - Familiar with data quality, governance and stewardship principals.
Skills and Abilities
SQL - Ability to write SQL queries - able to use filters, group by, having, sum and rank functions
Python - Ability to write python code in notebooks using Pandas
Data Profiling - Ability to explore, understand and describe complex data sets
Data wrangling and data cleansing - reorganizing, checking and transforming data from one format into another to make it easier to use
Additional tools - Scala, Data Bricks, Customer Data Platform, CRM Platform (Sales Force or Dynamics) experience a plus
Education - Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
