Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to support its thriving Product Liability and Mass Torts practice. The selected attorney will work closely with seasoned litigators on high-stakes individual, multidistrict, mass tort, and class action cases across a diverse range of sectors. The role provides the opportunity to become a key member of national trial teams operating in complex, high-risk jurisdictions, while benefiting from a collaborative and development-focused environment.

Duties:

• Participate as a core team member in the management and strategy of complex tort litigation matters

• Draft and review motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents

• Assist in discovery, including depositions, document review, and expert coordination

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to product liability, toxic torts, and related fields

• Support preparation for hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations

• Collaborate with litigation teams across offices and with clients nationwide

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly in product liability, mass torts, or toxic/environmental torts

• Demonstrated courtroom exposure or trial preparation involvement

• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced litigation setting

• Must be a current member of the California Bar in good standing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance preferred

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California is required
