Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to support various corporate activities, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, growth equity financings, and general corporate and commercial matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the legal aspects of transactions, managing client relationships, and providing high-level service to elite clients.

Duties:

• Support corporate work, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, growth equity financings, and general corporate and commercial matters.
• Handle mergers and acquisitions deals, including preparing ancillary documents, performing due diligence, and preparing reports.
• Manage deals from start to end with minimal supervision.
• Build and manage client relationships.
• Handle day-to-day requirements to ensure a high level of service to elite clients.
• Demonstrate strong drafting and negotiating skills.
• Work effectively in a team setting.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience as a Corporate Associate Attorney.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions deals, general corporate transactions, and capital markets transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic record.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in New York State.

Skills:

• Legal expertise in corporate law.
• Ability to run deals from start to end.
