A law firm seeks an experienced real estate associate to join the Tax Credit Department in Omaha, NE. Duties

• Review, draft, and manage transaction due diligence.
• Negotiate real estate documents including property management agreements and ground leases.
• Analyze surveys, title commitments, and zoning documentation.
• Coordinate and facilitate transaction closings in a team setting.
• Review UCC lien searches and environmental reports.
• Ensure appropriate approvals are in place before executing transactions.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in relevant legal areas.

Requirements

• Knowledge of applicable laws governing transactions.
• Proficiency in real estate or finance transactions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education

• Admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license or able to be admitted within one year.
• 1+ years of experience in transactional matters in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Certifications

• Active bar license in good standing.
