Job Title: Pre-Suit Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Valdosta, GA, is seeking a skilled and client-focused Pre-Litigation Attorney through a legal recruitment agency. This role involves early-stage case management of personal injury matters, focusing on insurance negotiation, evidence collection, and client advocacy. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to client communication, efficient caseload management, and pre-suit resolution strategies, all within a collaborative legal environment.

Duties:

• Handle a full portfolio of pre-litigation personal injury cases

• Engage directly with insurance providers to negotiate settlements

• Lead case preparation efforts, including document review, liability verification, and data entry

• Collaborate with and oversee a legal assistant assigned to each case

• Initiate and maintain communication with new and existing clients

• Direct investigations to obtain critical case details and maintain updates in internal systems

• Coordinate with healthcare providers to monitor and manage the client's medical treatment

• Explain medical procedures and paperwork to clients in an accessible manner

• Review and organize medical records and case materials for demand package creation

• Maintain comprehensive, organized case files throughout the pre-litigation process

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

• Previous experience in personal injury law or insurance negotiations preferred

• Proficient in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on client service and communication

• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Meticulous attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

• Fluent in English; bilingual fluency is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be in good standing with the Florida Bar
